# OpenStack Client
Quake AI builds its console and underlying services in part on [OpenStack](https://openstack.org), an open-source cloud computing infrastructure. This documentation references the corresponding OpenStack command line instructions that accompany or extend features available in the cloud console.

Alongside the OpenStack client, you’ll use the terminal command line, the SSH protocol, and other tools to access and administer your cloud resources from your local machine.

## Command line interface tools
To use the OpenStack command line interface (CLI) tools, you’ll use one of the OpenStack command line clients available here:

The [OpenStack User Guides](https://docs.openstack.org/2023.2/user/) cover installing clients and list per-service CLI references.
Each guide provides reference documentation for the commands available for each service, such as Compute, Network, etc.
