Storage console

The Storage sections of the Quake AI console (web interface) let you manage block storage volumes and object storage buckets. Block storage and object storage appear as separate items in the console navigation under Services.

Block storage#

Select Services > Block Storage in the console to manage persistent disk volumes.

• Volumes: create, attach, detach, extend, and delete block storage volumes
• Volume snapshots: capture point-in-time snapshots of volumes for recovery or cloning

Object storage#

Select Services > Object Storage in the console to manage S3-compatible buckets and objects.

• Object storage: create buckets, upload files, manage access control, and configure versioning

Get started#

To add persistent disk to a VM from the console, start with Volumes. To store files in S3-compatible buckets, start with Object storage.
